The Umatilla Chamber of Commerce will join United Grain in celebration of their grand opening and ribbon cutting at their new location in the city of Umatilla. The event takes place on Thursday, Dec. 20 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Jason Middleton, United Grain regional manager, will be joined by Umatilla Mayor Daren Dufloth, Umatilla City Manager David Stockdale, and the Umatilla Chamber of Commerce board to cut the ribbon and officially commemorate the opening of their new location at 775 Beach Access Road in the Port of Umatilla industrial area.
United Grain relocated their regional office to Umatilla in spring 2018 after assuming grain distribution services from Pendleton Grain Growers. The location was selected in part to maximize proximity to the grain storage and grain barge services at the port.
