Ronald G. “Ron” Douglas of Irrigon passed away in Irrigon on Feb. 18, 2025 at the age of 84.
He was born on Aug. 5, 1940 in Prineville to Marion and Thelma Greenway Douglas.
Ron worked as a long-haul truck driver for over 25 years. He coached Little League baseball in Umatilla for many years and was a member of the Umatilla Sage Riders, where he served as president of the club for a time.
Ron is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sharon Douglas; sons, Shannon Douglas and Trent Douglas; daughter, Ronaca Busler; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services are pending and will be announced at a later time.
