Spring is here and that means the yard we’ve been neglecting all winter needs a lot of work and a lot of cleaning up.
To help with that chore, Sanitary Disposal, Inc. is holding its annual Spring Clean-Up Week April 1-7 at the Sanitary Disposal Transfer Station, two miles north of Hermiston on Highway 395 across from Lift Company, Inc.
During the week, cash customers using the Transfer Station will receive up to a $13.50 discount per load. This means loads measuring up to 2.5 cubic yards with a maximum weight of 454.5 pounds can be disposed of free of charge. This offer includes all acceptable solid waste with the exception of tires. Tires will be charged at the regular rate.
The Sanitary Disposal Transfer Station is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 a.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
