Faye L. Poulson, of Irrigon died on May 29, 2015 in Hermiston at the age of 98.
She was born on May 1, 1917 in Tekoa, Wash., to Glen and Grace McKenzie Davis. When she was a few years old the family moved to Weiser, Idaho where she attended school. Weiser is where she met the love of her life, Rex Poulson. They were married 63 years. Leone lived in Irrigon for 40 years and was an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was church clerk for many years and the leader of the Adventist Community Services for 20 years. Leone loved to sew, crochet, knit, and crafts. She had a wonderful love of making quilts, making over 100 for family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Rita Prouty and Warren, Irrigon, and Lynda Giordano and John, Houston; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Leone was preceded in death by her husband, Rex; daughter, Neva; two granddaughters; her parents; two sisters; and four brothers.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Irrigon.
