The Oregon DUII Multi-Disciplinary Training Task Force has selected Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office’s Sgt. Josh Roberts as the 2018 DUII Trainer of the Year, and Senior Deputy Nathan Rankin as the 2018 DUII Enforcement Deputy of the Year.

The awards will be presented at the DUII Multi-Disciplinary Impaired Driving Training Conference this April in Canyonville.

In 2017, the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received the Agency of the Year award.

“We are honored to receive these prestigious awards for the hard work our deputies are doing to battle impaired driving in Umatilla County and keeping our roads safe,” said Sheriff Terry Rowan. “All the credit goes to our patrol deputies, reserve deputies, dispatch and jail personnel, records staff, and the prosecutors for making this award possible.”
