The Stanfield Police Department responded to 97 calls for service during December, according to Police Chief Byron Zumwalt.
Of these, nine were for code enforcement, 22 for person crimes, eight property crimes, 22 for public disorder and 23 for traffic incidents.
The 22 person crimes included four civil issues, four domestic disputes, two for harassment, one for a possible sex crime and eight for welfare/mental health calls.
The property crimes category included one call for burglary, one for criminal mischief, one for fireworks and four for theft.
In the public disorder category six calls were to check an alarm, three were for disturbance/fight, one was for shots fired, eight were for suspicious circumstances and four were for trespassing.
n the traffic incidents category, one was for a disabled vehicle, three were for driving complaints, one was for hit and run, eight were for motor vehicle accidents, one was for a pursuit, two were for traffic hazards and seven were for vehicle checks.
Officer-initiated contacts were 58 for December, for a total of 155 calls.
Repeat service calls totaled 31. Of these, business calls included 16 to the Pilot Travel Center and four were to Dollar General. Residential calls included four to Patriot Heights and three to Copper Corner Apartments.
Stanfield officers made six arrests in December; three were for felonies and three were for misdemeanors. Of these, four arrests involved warrants and one arrest involved a family assault investigation.
Case reports totaled four felony investigations, five misdemeanors, two crash reports, four for information and three voided cases. There were four additional reports from Echo in the month. Total case reports for both communities were 22.
Agency officers issued 10 traffic citations and 25 warnings, but none for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
Stanfield officers also conducted 12 area and building checks, 10 local field contacts and one directed patrol.
Officers reported 35 incidents for Echo, including officer-initiated activities or traffic stops.
