Sylvia Loretta Hallmark, formerly of Hermiston, passed away in Newberg on March 22, 2025 at the age of 91.
She was born on July 30, 1933 in Guthrie, Okla. to Earnest and Cassie Winters George.
She is survived by her children, Shirley Eirvin, Carolyn Owens, Richard “Rick” Hallmark, Jerry Hallmark and Terry Hallmark; one sister, Pamela Hall; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many extended family members.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Richard James Hallmark in 2010.
A family celebration and viewing time will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Burns Mortuary Chapel, 685 W. Hermiston Ave.
A private burial will be in the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise, Idaho.
