Terry Ray Bothwell of Hermiston passed away in Hermiston on Dec. 24, 2025 at the age of 66.
He was born on April 22, 1959 in Great Falls, Mont. to Gary and Susan Wheaton McCollum.
Terry moved to Pendleton as a child, where he attended schools. He graduated from Pendleton High School in the class of 1977. Terry married Cheryl Calvert in 1981 and from this union two children were born, Jillian and Jason. The couple separated many years later.
Terry drove truck for many years in his early career. He later took a job as a diesel mechanic for Conagra, where he worked for many years until retiring. Terry enjoyed working on cars, riding motorcycles and shooting guns.
He is survived by a daughter, Jillian Bothwell; sons, Jason Bothwell and Christopher Calvert; nine grandchildren; father, Gary McCollum; sister, Michele Rider; and several extended family members and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan and his longtime companion, Kay.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later time.
