Tyler Matthew Andreason passed away unexpectedly on June 25, 2025 at the age of 33.

He was born on May 16, 1992 in Pendleton to Matthew and Linda Ross Andreason.

At an early age, Tyler had a love for music, sports (especially baseball), food and the Green Bay Packers.

He grew up in Hermiston, where he attended schools and graduated from Hermiston High School in the class of 2010. After high school he went to work for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, where he traveled across the United States seeing new places for the next nine years. In 2019 he moved back to Eastern Oregon and began working as an engineering technician at an Amazon data center. He loved to work and had formed close relationships with his co-workers. When not working, Tyler loved watching football and all things sports, and had found a new passion in learning to golf.

Tyler’s humor and quick wit will be greatly missed. He could make a person laugh like no other.

He is survived by his parents, Matt and Linda Andreason; sister, Kylee and husband Lane Sale; nephews, Rhett and Colter Sale; grandma, Jan Ross; Grammy, Pat Andreason; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry Ross and Grampy, Kevin Andreason.

A private family service will be held, with burial in the Hermiston Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the Hermiston/Pendleton Special Olympics in honor of Tyler Matthew Andreason.

Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of arrangements.
