Halloween is almost here, and the Umatilla Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center and local businesses are gearing up for Trick-Or-Treat Sixth Street on Friday, Oct. 26 at Village Square Park.
The evening offers lots of fun for everyone. Participating businesses will be welcoming trick or treaters from 4 to 6 p.m. Trunk-Or-Treat will take place on H Street; for more information, call the chamber at 541-922-4825. There’s also a pumpkin carving contest starting at 3 p.m. for kids ages 0-12 and 13 and up. The entry fee is $5, and judging is at 5 p.m. The Umatilla Museum will be hosting the dog costume contest this year. Call the museum at 541-626-2099 for more information.
