UMATILLA, Ore.-One person was hospitalized after a shooting in Umatilla on the night of July 26.
Umatilla PD Officers responded to the shooting at 210 Klickitat Street around 10:42 p.m. and found a 19-year-old man who had been shot in the head.
The victim was airlifted to a hospital in Portland, and his condition is currently unknown.
According to Umatilla PD, the preliminary investigation indicates that the shooting was gang-related and appears to have been a targeted incident.
Multiple shots were fired, damaging apartments and cars in the area, and UPD is now looking for a dark-colored SUV suspected of being involved in the shooting.
