There will be no town hall or roundtable discussion in Hermiston. Instead, Walden will be visiting the Umatilla County Fair at 5:45 p.m. and will meet with FFA students.

At the town hall meetings, Walden will give an update on his work in Oregon and Washington, D.C. and take questions from residents.

“These town hall meetings are another way I keep in close touch with the concerns of Oregonians,” he said. “I will answer questions from attendees and give an update on local issues that remain my priorities, including strengthening our rural communities, promoting access to public lands, protecting private water and property rights, and increasing access to quality, affordable health care.”

During his roundtable discussion with the Union County Chamber of Commerce, Walden will discuss growing the economy in rural Oregon communities. Prior to these meetings, Walden will be in central and southern Oregon for a small business seminar with Google, a wildfire roundtable, and a meeting with the technology community.
