HERMISTON, Ore.-The Greater Hermiston Community Foundation (GHCF) is now accepting applications for 2026 Wilcox Family Endowment Fund Grants.
Brothers John, Alan, and Bruce Wilcox, of Wilcox Furniture established the Wilcox Family Fund in 2019, with grants focusing on programs that benefit at-risk youth and expand opportunities for young people around the region, according to the GHCF.
“Our family has always believed in investing in the future of our communities, and that begins with our youth,” said Alan Wilcox.
Nonprofits serving youth in Hermiston, Umatilla, Stanfield, Irrigon, and Echo are encouraged to apply for Wilcox Family Endowment Fund Grants.
After retiring, John and Alan Wilcox partnered with the GHCF to establish the Wilcox Family Endowment Fund to continue their family’s tradition of community support.
“Through this fund, we want to help ensure that every child has access to the resources, support and opportunities to succeed,” said Wilcox.
Wilcox Family Endowment Fund Grant applications are open September 21 through October 8.

The GHCF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in Hermiston and the surrounding areas. By providing grants and support to local organizations, the Foundation works to strengthen the community and create opportunities for area residents.
