The Hermiston Chamber of Commerce is inviting everyone to take in some homes spun fun during the 2015 Hermiston Funfest in downtown Main Street on Saturday, July 11.
The annual event takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The day gets started with breakfast served by the Hermiston Rotary Club from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on N. Second Street.
The festival will also include children’s activities, lots of new and fun games for the. Back by popular demand will be the Outlaw Lawn Mower Dragsters revving up their engines and racing down Main Street in front of Defining Details. There will be carvers from Bear in the Box chainsaw group, OMSI will be here with a hands-on exhibit the whole family can experience. OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) will be located at the old Hermiston Herald building on Main Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be more than 50 booths and activities throughout the day. Shade will be provided in the general area around the stage. Entertainment on the Main Street stage will include the Dakota Brown Band, Jacob Looper, Dallin Puzey, the Fiesta Foods Mariachi Band and more. There will be a cooling station in front of Bloomz on Main Street.
