They will be honoring veterans and active duty military members with a spirited performance of dance. Members of the Dance Unlimited troupe include local dance students Amber Treat, Annabel Mitchell, Aristea Loveland, Courtnee West, Daytona Tracy, Logan Howard, Makena Royer, Melani Pursel, Mikayla Jeppeson and Violet Mitchell.

The performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 22.

“For 30 years Dance Unlimited in Hermiston has been providing dance classes for youth in the area and this is a grand opportunity for Desert Arts to partner with them to show off the talents we have here locally,” said Desert Arts Council President Mary Corp. “In turn, it gives the dance student an opportunity to experience the professional world of the performing arts.”

The theme for the night will be honoring our veterans and active duty military with dance followed by the musical performance of patriotic music from the 1940s by Swing Dolls.

Keeping up with this long tradition, the studio, located on Main Street, offers tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary and hip hop for youth ages 3 through high school. Dance Unlimited is home to many competitive dance groups who travel throughout the Pacific Northwest to various competitions. Dance Unlimited teams are coached by Jackie Peterson, Ashley Seibel and Austinn Black.
