The Umatilla Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the city of Umatilla and the Umatilla City Council will co-host a public forum to introduce the candidates for the open city Mmanager position. The forum is set for Thursday, Sept. 13 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Umatilla Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center.
Below is a list of the candidates:
- W. Blair Larsen has been the city manager for the city of Stanfield since 2013.
- Scott Meszaros has been the town administrator for the town of Meeker, Colorado since 2012.
- David Stockdale was most recently the city administrator for the city of Prosser, Wash., where he served for over two years.
The public is invited to come down and meet the candidates. Mayor Daren Dufloth will provide opening comments, followed by a brief statement from each candidate, then an open question-and-answer period. Light refreshments will be provided.
